But are solar generators that efficient, and can you afford the solar generator?
Well, there is no direct answer to this, but we believe that for you to make a decision regarding solar generators and whether they are worth the initial investment or not, you need to first understand how a solar generator works and how its function correlates to the cost of the generator.

Essentially, the first piece of silicon semiconductor has to be treated with phosphorus, a process that introduced more electrons to the silicone material, hence the negative charge. Once the negative charge is created, the second piece of silicone semiconductor undergoes treatment with Boron.
This treatment with Boron means that electrons are taken away from the silicone, and this gives the silicone a positive charge. With both silicone pieces charged, they will be laid on top of each other, and this results in the creation of the photovoltaic cell, as well as an electric field. The creation of a photovoltaic cell leads to the next step where the cell is combined with more cells and some metal, and wiring, which results in the creation of a solar panel.
When the solar panel is laid out in the sun, it absorbs photons from sunlight – photons are necessary for the creation of a chemical reaction within the electric field plus the free electrons from all the atoms attached. Note that these electrons would be collected by the pieces of metal on either end of the solar panel, and these electrons are then transferred to your electric devices through the wires, and voila! Your electronics are powered up!

To get the right numbers and the best option for you, the service providers will need you to first specify your zip code then specify your monthly usage, verify the cost of electricity, mention how much of your power bill you wish to offset, and then specify whether you will be claiming the Federal tax credit or not. Note that this credit is about 26% of your total project expenses towards credit to offset taxes owed that year.
Regarding the cost of solar panels, you need to know that the total cost of a solar panel is not as high as it was in the past, and they cost between $2.57 cents to $3.35 cents per watt. But the cost of the premium panels might go up to $1/watt or higher depending on size, quality, and brand.
